Hurry Up and Wait

Well... we hurried to get here... and learned that we will not be at Civil Affairs to get Julia for another 24 Hours from now... she has to travel to Chengdu and it is quite a drive.

Then we got a phone call.... She is HERE IN CHENGDU right now! However... for the first time in 14 years the Civil Affairs office said they will be closed for a few days or some such thing. Our guide is working on it... we are figuring that it will all work out somehow and I am choosing not to worry...

AND... our guide is trying to get the baby for us today.... right now.... this afternoon ----

Stay tuned.... I am hoping that in 3-4 hours I can post pics of Julia and I together. My heart sank when I thought it was not going to be until tomorrow afternoon. I do not need 24 hours to rest ..... I need my little one!

Still waiting to see how the whole civil affairs thing works out -- I am sure that it will all be fine and to be honest -- as long as I have my daughter -- it will be fine.
